The aim was to let in more natural light, connect interior spaces to gardens\/patio, improve thermal comfort, and bring a modern look without compromising privacy.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"8273\" data-end=\"8289\"><strong data-start=\"8273\" data-end=\"8287\">Challenges<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul data-start=\"8290\" data-end=\"8575\">\n<li data-start=\"8290\" data-end=\"8382\">\n<p data-start=\"8292\" data-end=\"8382\">Existing windows were small, with thick frames, limiting daylight and obstructing views.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li data-start=\"8383\" data-end=\"8446\">\n<p data-start=\"8385\" data-end=\"8446\">Heat gain was significant, especially in summer afternoons.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li data-start=\"8447\" data-end=\"8575\">\n<p data-start=\"8449\" data-end=\"8575\">The villa\u2019s design required balance: large glass expanses but structural strength, security, and Indian climate suitability.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p data-start=\"8577\" data-end=\"8601\"><strong data-start=\"8577\" data-end=\"8599\">Solution by Alurac<\/strong><\/p>\n<ol data-start=\"8602\" data-end=\"9699\">\n<li data-start=\"8602\" data-end=\"8891\">\n<p data-start=\"8605\" data-end=\"8891\"><strong data-start=\"8605\" data-end=\"8656\">Facade Glazing System with Semi-Unitized Panels<\/strong><br data-start=\"8656\" data-end=\"8659\" \/>A semi-unitized glazing system was chosen for the villa front. This allowed large glass panels with minimal visible frame, delivering elegance and high transparency. Reinforced aluminium frames were used for structural support.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li data-start=\"8893\" data-end=\"9168\">\n<p data-start=\"8896\" data-end=\"9168\"><strong data-start=\"8896\" data-end=\"8937\">High Performance Glazed Sliding Doors<\/strong><br data-start=\"8937\" data-end=\"8940\" \/>The ground floor facing the garden received floor-to-ceiling sliding doors. The chosen sliding systems feature high-quality seals, wide glass panels, and aluminium tracks designed for smooth and climate-resistant operation.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li data-start=\"9170\" data-end=\"9433\">\n<p data-start=\"9173\" data-end=\"9433\"><strong data-start=\"9173\" data-end=\"9212\">Integrated Design with ACP Cladding<\/strong><br data-start=\"9212\" data-end=\"9215\" \/>To add contrast and reduce monotony, portions of the fa\u00e7ade were clad in ACP panels with matte finish, aligned with the glazing to create clean lines. This helps also in heat reflection and adds a premium texture.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li data-start=\"9435\" data-end=\"9699\">\n<p data-start=\"9438\" data-end=\"9699\"><strong data-start=\"9438\" data-end=\"9483\">Consideration of Insulation &amp; Ventilation<\/strong><br data-start=\"9483\" data-end=\"9486\" \/>Double-glazed units with solar control coating were used to reduce heat gain while maintaining views. Operable sections allowed cross-ventilation.
